Design & Craftsmanship
The reverse depicts a mature goat, a young goat and a baby goat grazing peacefully in a tranquil rural setting. The imagery embodies the auspicious Chinese phrase "Three Goats Bring Bliss", symbolising the end of winter, the arrival of spring, the renewal of all things and prosperous new beginnings.
A flowering plum blossom tree appears in the design, representing purity, resilience and hope. Also included are the Chinese character for "Goat", the inscription "GOAT 2027", and The Perth Mint's "P" mintmark. The reverse incorporates a security feature in the form of a micro-engraved letter within the design.
