Queensland Mint is proud to present the 1oz 2025 1oz Lunar Series III Year of the Snake Silver Gilded Coin in Presentation Case from The Perth Mint.
Introduced in 1996, the long-running Australian Lunar Coin Series features the 12 animals of the lunar zodiac. This 2025 release celebrates the snake, whose rule over every sixth year in the 12-year lunar cycle is said to bestow intelligence, independence, and charm on people born under its influence.

The obverse: Portrays a snake which has been meticulously gilded in 24-carat gold. Included in the design is the inscription ‘SNAKE 2025’, the Chinese character for ‘Snake’, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
The reverse: Bears the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III.
