The coin’s reverse depicts a boab tree in the middle of a Kimberley landscape at sunset. In addition, an Argyle pink diamond embedded near the horizon represents the setting sun. The design includes name inscription, the 2015 year-date, and the mint’s mintmark.
The effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination are depicted on the coin’s obverse.
