Obverse: Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. Encircling the portrait are the words 'ELIZABETH II', and '5 DOLLARS 2014', indicating its legal tender face value and year of manufacture respectively.
Reverse: The iconic Maple Leaf in high relief, with a matching privy mark. Encircling the Maple Leaf are the words 'CANADA' and 'FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR', as well as the purity '9999' on either side of the Maple Leaf.
