Beginning in 1995 and concluding in 2003, as part of a 9-year series, the Floral Emblems of Australia gold coin series depicts each of Australia’s state and territory floral emblems. The first state’s flower depicted was NSW’s Waratah. The gold coins were produced in 2 sizes 1/2oz and 1/3oz, with face values of $150 and $100 respectively, and shipped in either wooden or soft-touch boxes.
