Reverse: The coin depicts the iconic Australian find, the 'Pride of Australia' nugget, on a pattern of radial lines with the inscriptions ‘AUSTRALIAN NUGGET’, ‘PRIDE OF AUSTRALIA’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. Also on the reverse is the coin’s weight, fineness, and year-date.

Obverse: The coin bears the official Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Obverse, featuring the Jody Clark effigy supplemented with the dates of Her Majesty’s reign – ‘1952 – 2022’. Also included on the obverse is the coin’s monetary denomination.
