Queensland Mint is proud to present the 2022 1oz Australian Koala Silver Bullion Coin from The Perth Mint.

One of Australia's most iconic coin series, the Australian Koala has been a popular design since its inception in 2008. Originally set as an uncapped mintage coin in parallel to the Australian Kangaroo, in more recent years their mintage has been strictly limited, making them popular between investors and collectors alike.

This years' edition of the Australian Koala Silver Bullion Coin features a frosted background with a Koala lazily napping on a native Gum Tree. The reverse also features the 2022 year date, weight, purity and the Perth Mint "P" Mint Mark as well as the word "KOALA".

The obverse image features Jody Clark's effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as well as the face value.
