Said to have a voracious appetite for gold, silver and jewels, the ancient Chinese mythological Pixiu is a fierce creature with the head of a dragon and the body of a lion. Described in folklore and often portrayed as male and female pairs, the Pixiu’s mystical powers are believed to help its adherents attract wealth.
