Queensland Mint presents the 2014 1oz Australian Kangaroo Gold Coin from The Perth Mint.

The Australian Gold Nugget is perhaps the most iconic Australian Gold Bullion coin. Starting from 1986 a new design has been produced every year, and the Australian Kangaroo being introduced to the design in 1989. Since then, the Gold Nugget has often been referred to as the Gold Kangaroo. The Australian Gold Kangaroo is one of the few legal tender gold coins worldwide that features a new design every year.

The obverse of the coin features the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse depicts a kangaroo standing along a fence in the great Australian outback.
