The 1999 Australian 1oz Silver $1 Majestic Images Proof Coin is truly special in its homage to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It protrays Her Majesty through four effigies through her long, historic reign. On the obverse, the then new Ian-Rank Broadley effigy is featured.

The reverse depicts the preceeding three effigies facing forwards - one after another. The intelligent design of the reverse (and lone obverse) is a nod to the evolution of the effigies and reflects nostalgically on the progression of the Queen through time. This elegantly captures the longevity of her reign.
